BlomInfo-Geonet S.R.L. is a branch of  the Blom Group.

The Blom Group was founded in Norway in 1954 and is today a leading company in Europe within mapping, charting and related activities.

BlomInfo-Geonet S.R.L. has been positioned as a leading Romanian company within GIS, cadastre, land surveying and digital mapping services. It merges the knowledge of local market experience of Geonet (founded in 1999 and acquired by Blom in 2004) and international geo-data production projects successfully implemented in Romania by BlomInfo A/S, in joint venture with Geonet starting in 2002.

The company has a GIS data production centre and GIS project development group with about 280 employees.

BlomInfo-Geonet S.R.L. provides mapping, geo-information and cadastre services on the local market mainly to municipalities and to oil extraction-, utilities- and consulting companies. On international operations BlomInfo-Geonet provides digital mapping services to other Blom group companies, such as BlomInfo A/S, FM Kartta, Simmons Aerofilms.
