PROJECT TO REPLACE MINE BOUNDARIES IN ARGENTINA
A mapping and modelling project using GPS ground control technology was executed in Argentina for the Republic of Argentina's Mining Subsecretary. The project included a technical attendance to create a 1st order Geodetic Network and to replace about 3.000 mine boundaries and control points for the Argentinian Mining Development Technical Attendance Project (PASMA project). The project was executed in two phases and covered the Mendoza, San Luis, Chubrut, Santa Cruz and Tierra de Fuego provinces. The first phase was executed during 1997-98, while the final phase was between 1999-2000.
