3D City Models
3D city models have become an important dataset over the past few years and are becoming increasingly more intelligent as computer power increases and the level of attribution expands. Blom group companies have considerable experience of producing models at various levels of detail and suitable for different applications.
Depending upon requirements, models can be created from photogrammetry information; aerial LiDAR; oblique photography (Pictometry) and ground survey LiDAR data, or a combination of all this information using the cost and accuracy benefits of each. The integration of Pictometry oblique photography provides a unique new perspective as building textures may be applied automatically from the geo-referenced imagery.
