AERIAL PHOTO FOR FLOOD DAMAGE ASSESSMENT IN GERMANY 2002
Aerial photos and orthophotos were used to assess damage caused by flood on the river Elbe in August 2002 for the German Rail for DB Netz AG in Frankfurt, Germany. The photogrammetric damage assessment consisted of aerial photo flights, photogrammetric restitutions of the photos and generation of a photo map for damage assessment of the railroad lines in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt (235 km).
The railway-tracks that were affected by the flood were showed by Atlant.
