AERIAL PHOTO FOR LAND REGISTRATION IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Blom executed and produced aerial photo flights, ground control and generation of digital othophotos in preparation to install a land register in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The land register covers the districts of Grude (scale 1:1.000, 37 sq.m), Trebinje (scale 1:2.000, 94 sq.m) and Brocko (scale 1:5.000, 1.310 sq.m), and supports the four municipalities in the establishment of register offices. This includes IT-infrastructure, improved workflow, administrative procedures and renewal of the legal framework in cooperation with GCI – Dr. Schindler, Geo Consult International GmbH, Leipzig, Germany.

On behalf of the international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development of The German Federal Government (GTZ), the World Bank will, from autumn 2006, finance the roll out of this experience to even more municipalities. The project has been executed between 2001 and 2006 for the Deutsche Gesellscahft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) in Eschborn, Germany. The project was executed between 2001 and 2006.
