Products
Blom Environmental & Coastal Surveys provides a range of products including sea charts, seabed and topographic datasets for coastal information and management solutions and 3D seabed imagery. These can include erosion models, geological information, seabed information and topography, vegetation and waterlines. All this, and more, can be extracted from the data acquired by the Hawk Eye II airborne LiDAR system.
Cost efficiency
Because airborne LiDAR hydrographic surveying is fast, and its swath width is constant (not a function of water depth which limits traditional ship based multibeam surveying), Hawk Eye II LiDAR surveying is typically 60% the cost of traditional methods.
