Using high resolution LiDAR data, Blom group companies can create power industry specific solutions combining various information datasets, to make electricity transmission line maintenance and construction more efficient. Blom utilises four helicopter-based LiDAR systems, enabling the group to undertake surveys of large sections of the transmission infra-structure in a minimum time period.
